Lion's Hold Off Charge

Jefferys' Lion's held off a Redskin charge to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs. I really didn't think that the Lion's could hold out, but they did. The final score was 113 to 108.

Jeff's Redskin's just didn't have what it takes to put the Lion's away last night. They must have run out of arrows, and tomahawks in making the last charge. The Redskin's horses must have given out, because at the end of the game, the Redskin's were seen running off over the hill on foot. Now the Redskin's can return to their teepees for a long winter's nap. 

It looks like the Lion's are going to square off against Nan's Nimrods in round 2. Gertrude Doflicky has those Lion's in her sights, and her team will be ready to play. Don't forget that the Nimrods are the Div.1 Champs, so the Lion's are going to have to claw their way through this upcoming game. I, Ms Ernestine, congratulate the Lion's for holding on, and defeating the Redskin's. A job well done.

The Gorilla's will have to face the Booty Shaker's in round 2, and it looks as if the Gorilla's will have their hands full. Coach Whitey is going over his game plan as we speak. The Gorilla's are going to need a little luck in this one, but someone said Harvey will be on the sidelines for the game. That should boost the Gorilla's in a big way. 

Pop Pop has informed us that he will have Harvey back here at headquarter's any day now. They ran into a slight problem when Pop Pop arrived to meet with Nosy the Bloodhound, and "Frankie the Mouse." All of that news will be coming to you later so stay tuned.
